Honour Code

1. Purpose

The End of World Survival Kit Honour Code sets standards for respectful, useful discussion about emergency preparedness, survival skills, equipment and related topics on our website. It applies to comments, forums, reviews, messages and any community features we provide.

2. Respect Other People

• Treat other participants and moderators politely, including when you disagree.
• Do not threaten, harass, bully, intimidate, discriminate against or verbally abuse another person.
• Do not publish hateful, sexually exploitative, obscene or deliberately humiliating content.
• Respect privacy: do not share someone else’s address, contact details, private messages or identifying information without permission.

3. Post Responsibly

• Keep posts relevant to the discussion and distinguish personal experience from verified advice.
• Do not knowingly share false, deceptive or dangerous claims, particularly about medical emergencies or life-saving actions.
• Do not encourage illegal acts, violence, sabotage, theft or unsafe use of equipment.
• Do not spam, impersonate people, promote scams or use discussions for unauthorised advertising.
• Respect copyright and credit original creators when sharing permitted material.

4. Safety and Preparedness

Survival information can involve real risks. Consider your health, surroundings, local laws and abilities before acting on advice. Do not rely on community posts as a substitute for emergency services or qualified professional guidance.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

We may review reports, remove or edit content, issue warnings, restrict features or suspend accounts where we reasonably believe conduct breaches this code or the law. We may act promptly where safety, privacy or security is at risk. Measures will depend on the nature and seriousness of the issue.

6. Reporting a Concern

To report abusive behaviour or other conduct concerns, email contact@endofworldsurvivalkit.com with the page link, relevant details and, where appropriate, screenshots. Please do not publicly repost private or harmful material. We will assess the report and respond where appropriate.

7. Changes to the Honour Code

We may update this code as community features evolve. The date above identifies the latest revision.
